5th Semester Project Or the joys of Studio MAX This was an interesting interior design project. I actually took a freshman re-design of my teacher Cilla Scott's studio and built it with Studio Max. The challenge was to learn the Max interface and to create good lighting and shadows without using radiosity. Radiosity was available but it would have probably crashed the machines! |

Space The studio had fire hazard standards to meet. To keep it visually light, the second floor is translucent and suspended. The items on display follow the theme by being displayed on glass stands, modeled after Cilla's stands in her studio. We also had to come up with a name and logo: sticking to what I wanted it to be, an art gallery and design studio. The name "Argades" came naturally. The logo came from hightly stylized A.G.D.S. initials. It came in handy, as it could be used for a logo or a nice motif. |
